Our Hot Foil Press
We print all our stationery in-house, on our British-made, 100kg hot foil press. This antique piece of equipment takes centre stage at our studio, where our love of printing and craftsmanship come together to form some of the finest quality stationery in the world.
Tools
Our Printing Plates
Hot foil stamping is a unique and traditional way of printing that uses a heated plate to make impressions. By etching your design into a piece of pure metal, we are able to transfer your design onto any type of paper, using whatever type of foil you fancy.
Materials
Our Papers & Foils
We work with some of the finest paper and foil suppliers in the world, and they supply our studio with fresh materials every season. We look to the world of fashion and interiors to influence our selection, which makes our range modern and more extravagant than most.
Process
Our Printing Process
We print our stationery by hand, piece-by-piece, by sandwiching a piece of paper and foil on the print bed, and pressing down. A hundred degrees and 1/4 tonne pressure leaves a glorious, tactile impression on the paper, that looks as luxurious as it feels.
